Collaborations
sundays
We are proud to support purposeful businesses. sundays is a New York-based nail care brand, founded on the values of individuality, simplicity, and wellness. Their salons set the trend for Scandinavian-esque self-care sanctuaries, and their line of products are all non-toxic, vegan and cruelty-free; the proof is in the pudding with a passionate community and a mile-long list of accolades from Vogue through to The New York Times.
We’ve excitedly been evolving our input as their business has grown, from providing meditation and qi gong classes for the opening of their flagship salon in 2017, to offering Instagram LIVE meditations and sleep tips to their online community during the height of the pandemic. Our latest contribution, in pace with sundays’s pivot to operating primarily online, has been recording guided meditations to accompany their virtual classes and at-home manicure workshops.
Le Moderne Yoga
As of 2020, Jenni has been partnering with yoga studios as their meditation advisor and provider. Le Moderne Yoga is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance-registered teacher training program, developed by Rachelle Tersigni (founder of Radiant Wellness Club) and Samuel Urtado (founder of the Somasana chain of wellness studios).
This particular teacher training is not only about practicing yoga; it also focuses on using meditation and the other tools of yoga on a daily basis to create physiological changes and a new understanding of how we can behave in today's world.
Jenni is responsible for designing and presenting the meditation component of the training. Le Moderne Yoga is held in Paris, and delivered in French and English.
Somasana
We collaborate with yoga teachers and holistic therapists to create immersive, innovative experiences. Somasana is a Parisian chain of better-being studios offering a tailored mix of yoga, fitness and personal development practices.
In 2019, we partnered with them to provide instruction in meditation, qi gong, mindful movement and creative practices for founder Samuel Urtado’s inaugural retreat. In 2020, we added our experience in branding, content strategy and marketing, our obsessiveness with user experience, and our photographic capabilities to elevate the week-long event experience.
Details on the retreats can be found here.
Better Spaces
Through 2017 and 2018, we teamed up with Better Spaces to transform offices into sustainable environments that increase productivity while facilitating work-life balance and overall wellbeing.
Making use of under-utilized spaces (everything from rooftops and vacant office suites through to completely bare pre-construction areas), we introduced employees in the building to a range of amenities and curated services such as inspiration libraries, green zones, healthy juices and snacks and wellness programming. KINDRED provided the Qi Gong and Meditation classes, with assisted further learning made available on the Better Spaces app.
Better Spaces is a leader in creating sustainable spaces, with over a decade of working on certification programs such as the WELL Building Standard, LEED, and BREEAM, with Fortune 500 companies and growing startups alike.
KINDRED x Conselyea
KINDRED x Conselyea was created to provide space for wellness-minded individuals to come together and unwind from the pressures of city living.
The pop-up studio ran from June to October 2015, and was located on Conselyea St in the heart of Williamsburg. Set up in the style of a living room, it was designed as a home away from home for NYC's creative and corporate community.
Classes ran each Monday night and were followed by community dinner down the road at Mama Pho restaurant.
These dinners were supplemented with the occasional KINDRED Social - sunset dinner soirees to allow the community to mingle in a more casual setting.
KINDRED x Conselyea was created in partnership with Camille Jalandoni.
